A Heart-Shield Bible served as more than just physical protection—it was a symbol of faith and comfort. Designed to fit in a soldier’s uniform pocket, this special edition of the New Testament featured a metal-plated cover and was promoted as a way to safeguard a soldier’s heart from enemy fire during World War II.  With reassuring phrases inscribed on the front, offering emotional strength to the soldiers who received these small Bibles from their families and loved ones.

Our homage to this history comes at a time when our faith is being tested around the globe.  We wanted to revive this tradition and make something that could be passed down through generations.
